Our 2025 Pelotonia campaign is officially underway! Once again, we’re teaming up with Simply Community to make a global impact in the fight against cancer.
What is Pelotonia?
Pelotonia is more than just a ride—it’s a grassroots movement uniting thousands of riders, runners, walkers, volunteers, and supporters in the fight against cancer. Every dollar raised goes directly to innovative cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, helping to advance lifesaving treatments worldwide.How to Get Involved
There are many ways to participate, whether on the road or behind the scenes:- Ride in Ride Weekend
- Join us in August for the main event, where participants can choose from various routes and distances to suit all fitness and fundraising levels.
- Ride in Gravel Day
- Take on an off-road cycling adventure in October.
- Take Part in the (NEW!) Trail Run/Hike
- This new addition offers a unique way to participate and enjoy the outdoors while supporting cancer research.
- Challenger
- For those who prefer not to bike or will be participating in a ride event outside of Central Ohio, this category allows you to create your own personal fundraising challenge.
- Volunteer
- If you’re not able to participate in the physical events, volunteering is a fantastic way to support the cause and be part of the community.

We’re committed to making participation as accessible as possible for our colleagues and their immediate family members. By following our suggested guidelines, you’ll have access to key support:- Fundraising Support – Commit to raising funds, and we’ll support you every step of the way. If you make a genuine effort to fundraise but don’t reach your goal, Greif will cover the difference.
- Access to Equipment – No bike? No problem! We’ll make sure you have access to a bike so you can join the journey.
