Greif is pleased to announce the installation of a new vertical seamer for steel drums at its Grand-Quevilly plant in France.
Aimed at maximizing overall customer satisfaction, the investment will deliver efficiency gains and enhanced product performance. The new equipment will further improve the seam quality on steel drums and optimize lead times. Substantial energy savings are also expected.

Established over a century ago and employing more than 200 people, Grand-Quevilly is one of Greif’s largest facilities across the EMEA region. Its steel drums are supplied into various markets including lubricants, petrochemicals, flavors, fragrances and paints. It operates blow molding machines for plastic drums and jerricans for the food industry and also produces Trisure plastic components.
