In our ongoing celebration of exceptional customer service, we are thrilled to spotlight Ashley Hamm, a dedicated member of the Greif team for nearly 13 years. As Purchasing Admin Coordinator at our Winfield, Kansas steel drum manufacturing facility, Ashley consistently goes above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
Celebrating her service anniversary on September 6, Ashley shared her perspective on customer service: “To me, being legendary means finding your calling. At Greif, I’ve found mine by being there for our team and customers, ensuring we all succeed together.” Her approach focuses on building strong, lasting relationships that enhance both customer satisfaction and our shared achievements.

Customers at our Winfield location have praised Ashley for her consistent support and responsiveness, noting, “Ashley is, by far, one of the best reps I work with. She is very accommodating and quick to respond to issues we may have whether it be moving dates, pricing, or any other requests. I have no problem calling Ashley if the issue is urgent and she always answers with a kind, sweet voice and willingness to help.”
Ashley added, “Working in customer service can be a rollercoaster. While there are moments we must navigate complex situations, the strong relationships I’ve built with our customers often turn these challenges into collaborative opportunities. Together, we meet their needs and contribute to both their success and Greif’s.”
